Lewis Moody (born on June 12th 1978 in Ascot) is an
English International Rugby Union player.
He captained England in the final 2010 6 Nations Championship
match against France in Paris. He is England captain ever since.
Apart from England National Team, he plays flanker for Bath
Rugby.
Lewis Moody is a tough rugby player, known for his determination
and pugnacity. Some call him the "Mad dog".
He played a decisive role in the 2003 World Cup by winning the
final line-out which led to an epic victory with Wilkinson's
winning drop goal. His longevity as well as his excellence was
reflected by 2009-10 being his fourthteenth and final season as a
Leicester Tigers' first team squad member.
